  • Tamer Kawasaki Finalizes 2007 Plans

Lincoln, NE (January 10, 2007) – Tamer Motorsports LLC announced today MaestroCard and Leo Vince USA exhaust systems will become the title sponsor of Tamer Kawasaki in 2007 making the team name Tamer - Kawasaki - MaestroCard - Leo Vince Racing.  A new relationship with Kawasaki will see the team riders competing aboard the KX™250F and the KX™450F motorcycles in AMA Supercross and Motocross competition.

"We have worked hard and to be involved with Kawasaki is an accomplishment," said Kevin Maret, team manager, Tamer Motorsports LLC.  "We have been given an opportunity and now it is up to this team to capitalize on this opportunity."

"Leo Vince is the king of sound and when we were fined $1000 for failing a post race sound test while the Leo Vince teams were sailing through, I began talking with Ted and Tim," said Kevin Maret "and they have done an exceptional job of developing their 2007 product line."

Maestro® is MasterCard International's lead debit brand and offers over 540 million cardholders highly secure and convenient access to their current and deposit accounts, shops, restaurants and cash machines in over 100 countries across the world.  It provides PIN-based, direct cash access from your bank account at home as well as abroad; just look for the Maestro logo.  Maestro allows you to pay with the highest level of convenience and security, and is backed by MasterCard Worldwide.

Tamer Motorsports is entering its fifth year of racing and is fielding a five-rider team with Eric Sorby, Bradley Graham, Jake Marsack, Ryan Newton and Ronny Jackson.

Sorby and Marsack will compete in the Supercross and Motocross classes and long-time Team Green™ rider Graham and newcomers Jackson and Newton will race the West/East Supercross Lites respectively and the Motocross Lites classes.   Returning to the team will be Ken Lile wrenching for Sorby, Rob Goodwin wrenching for Graham and Jackson, John Angers for Ryan Newton and Jim Marsack for Jake Marsack.

“Every year we strive and work to improve our program, which is a difficult task in racing.  Again in 2007, we have accomplished this goal."
