MDK/Xyience Honda rider David Vuillemin suffered a frightening crash on the second lap of the main event that brought out the red flag two laps later. He was out cold on the racetrack, and the Asterisk Mobile Medic crew wisely signaled for a red flag. Fortunately, within five minutes he was back on his feet, though he looked like he'd been hit by a heavyweight boxer. He posted this short update on Mototalk this morning:
"Just got to the airport in Phx. I spent the night in the hospital. Nothing broken just some pain in the belly.
I'll take it easy this week and I'll try to race A2.
