WMA Cup Welcomes All Women Motocrossers

(Oct 19, 2006) Bend, Or: The 4th Annual Z1R Helmets WMA Cup is coming up this Nov. 22 – 26 at Cycle Ranch MX Park, in Floresville, Texas. The “Largest Women’s Motocross Race in History” offers opportunities for all levels of female motocross racers beginners to pros.

The WMA Cup, which drew 270 women entries last year, provides 16 different girls/women’s classes for all skill levels, bike size and ages. This prestigious event holds a special women’s awards ceremony with 6.5 ft tall trophies awarded from first place to tenth place and pays the largest women’s pro purse of the year - $ 10,000. There is also a large free WMA membership appreciation raffle where prizes from WMA sponsors are given away. In addition, contingency from Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Dunlop and Scott is offered.
