This spectacular high flying event features factory support teams and top professional motorcycle racers from across the country. The Selland will be fired up! Round 1 of the BooKoo Arenacross Championship with more than $3.5 million dollars up for grabs in purse, points fund and contingency money, making this is the richest arenacross series in history – and the competition will be brutal! Top arenacross teams will tackle one of the toughest “big-air” tracks in the country, and if your heart can take it, freestyle megastar Trevor Vines will attempt his first-ever indoor back-flip both Friday and Saturday nights!
Mike Kidd, president of MKEG is looking forward to bringing the national caliber arenacross racing to Fresno for the first time. “Fresno is a very strong motorcycle market and expect big crowds all weekend,” Kidd said. “I have always looked forward to introducing arenacross to central California. They fans are going to be very impressed.”
The track will take over 150 truck loads of dirt to construct a man-made battle ground of berms, whoop-de-doos and jumps that will send riders sailing 70’ through the air. Motocross has often been called the most physical and demanding sport in the world, and taking motocross indoors makes this one of the fastest growing sports in the country.
