Back in the day, you just rode dirt bikes. The lifestyle aspect of the sport wasn’t something you worried about, because you were only concerned with just getting a bike and keeping it running. Reliability was a big deal back then, especially if you were sharing a ratty old bike with your two brothers and towing it to the track behind a giant malaise-era American sedan.

Today, bikes and haulers run a lot better. It’s gotten to the point where companies that once specialized in keeping things moving can also focus on how things are looking. Take Maxima, for example. They’ve produced quality oil and lubricants for decades now, and they keep doing it today. However, there’s also a set of Maxima products dedicated entirely to the lifestyle part of the sport—you know, looking good, feeling good.

First, you’ve got this SC1 Clear Coat. Ever notice how shiny the factory bikes look in the pits? A little of this spray will give your bike that look, even if it’s been all tattered up.

Maxima has also engineered these Micofiber Towels, which are good for polishing and buffing and also for wiping off excess Maxima Speed Wax and the SC1 Clear Coat listed above. Your bike isn’t going to break, so put down the wrenches and work the towels and spray to show off a bit.

Oh, and why not don some cool threads? The Maxima MX Club Men’s Hoodie has a full zipper, kangaroo front pockets, and more. It’s available in charcoal and navy, and the women's version is available in turquoise. You could even wear this while working the towels and the spray for the ultimate cool look. That’s very important these days.
