  • Loop’d Network Answers Economic Bailout Plan with Sponsorship Surge
- Loop’d to boost free applications and offer discounted premium account fees -

SAN DIEGO – Loop’d Network™, the leading social network for action sports and youth culture, today launches a new sponsorship program at sponsorship.loopd.com designed to remove barriers, provide economic stimulus to athletes through sponsorship, and assist members in applying for more opportunities this season. Today, every Loop’d network member will receive 15 free sponsorship applications that can be submitted to the over 400 companies offering sponsorship programs on the network.

Going forward, every new member will receive the same 15 free applications - previously, new members received five free applications. Also, a premium account upgrade– which includes unlimited applications is being offered at a 25% discount lowering the annual fee from $39.95 to $29.95 with no taxpayer impact. This offer will be in place until November 30, 2008, and all current premium account members who are up for renewal before December 1st, 2008 will auto-renew at the new discounted price.

“Today we are launching this new program to make sure our members have as many opportunities for sponsorship as possible”, said Scott Tilton, CEO of Loop’d Network. “The over 400 brands on the network are also in market today looking for athletes to sponsor. It’s our job to make the non-partisan brand/athlete connection happen and to remove as many barriers as we can. In all seriousness, we understand the economy is suffering right now, and we wanted to do something meaningful to help.”

Members can use their additional sponsorship applications to apply for sponsorship from companies such as – Dunlop Tires, SixSixOne, Amsoil, No Fear, EVS, True Snowboards, Xtreme Wreckage, Promo Logic, Nema Clothing, Fatlip Clothing, Bubble Gum Surf Wax, Division 26, and Leo Vince. To find out more about the new sponsorship program and to see all the companies currently offering sponsorship go to sponsorship.loopd.com.
