The fourth and final day of X Games 2013 featured Men and Women’s Enduro X racing in the Staples Center, and as is always the case with Enduro X, the racing was intense in both classes. The unofficial king of the sport, Taddy Blazusiak, took home yet another gold medal in the finals, but not without fits from Mike Brown and Cody Webb. In the Women’s class, Tarah Gieger took the early lead, but a crash handed it over to Laia Sanz, who never looked back until the checkers.
  • Colton Haaker was on fire in the finals, but unfortunately got held up in a nasty section. Haaker went on to finish fourth, while David Knight (behind) was sixth.

  • Taddy Blazusiak splashes through a massive water section, one of several challenging obstacles on the course. Amazingly enough, the entire circuit is built overnight after the Moto X racing, and features two water pools, several rocks and logs, and even step-ups and double jumps.

  • Mike Brown holeshots his qualifying heat, which he went on to easily win. Brown is amazingly fast in Enduro X, but what is more amazing than his speed is the fact that he competed in Moto X the night prior, scoring the Ironman award.

  • Tarah Gieger got a great start and looked to have the win in the bag, but a crash and subsequent hangup prevented victory.

  • It is very hard to believe that Mike Brown is 41 years old, especially when you see him tearing up the track with his picture-perfect moto style. Brownie took home a silver medal for his efforts.

  • Taddy was ecstatic about taking home gold in the last-ever Los Angeles X Games. Just like he is doing in this portrait, Blazusiak definitely kept his KTM pinned!

  • Tarah Gieger shows off her new bronze medal following the awards ceremony. Though she was disappointed with handing over the win to Sanz after a crash, Gigsey was still a happy camper to have scored yet another X Games medal to add to her collection.
