high voltage hills MX park // greig, ny // highvoltagehillsmx.com
High Voltage Hills is a family-owned and-operated track in the upstate New York region, just south of the Tug Hill Plateau. We opened in the fall of 2016, with 2017 as our first racing season. We’re part of AMA and CNYMRA District 3, and our track is making a name for itself due to its loamy sand soil conditions, high speed, and natural flowing jumps and hills. There’s plenty of parking in our pit area, which is a 15-acre field, and we’ve got lots of nearby lodges and hotels for rooms as well. We’re located just five miles from the town of Brantingham, which has a few bars for food and some lodging as well. Being a new track, we’re trying our best to make racing and riding fun for everyone. We hope to see everyone at High Voltage Hills.

cernics cycle world // johnstown, pA // cernics.com // 814-539-4114
The Cernic family embarked on a plan to purchase and enlarge the facility from which they could serve their customers. In August of 2010 they purchased a building and property in the eastern end of Cambria County, Pennsylvania, called Geistown Boro. The 16,000 sq. ft. building was larger than the existing Cernic’s building, plus it allowed for the offices of the dealership to be located on a second floor. After six months of total restoration, they opened their new facility. The new, modern open-area concept allows customers more selection and more convenience in their shopping needs. It also positioned the dealership in the area’s retail section—they could now service not only the immediate area, but also the area served by the Somerset store, which was closed; the employees from that store were brought in to the new store. The Cernic family has been in the motorcycle business for over 40 years, and with the new modern facility, they will be more available to walk-in and online customers.
Edelmann Sales // troy, ny // EDELMANNSALES.COM // 518-663-5573
In the fall of 1966, Fred Edelmann of Pittstown, New York, found himself wishing to purchase a Scorpion snowmobile and was shocked to discover that there were no dealers nearby. When Scorpion offered Fred the opportunity to become a dealer, he asked, “Can I buy two snowmobiles?”—and a dealership was born. Fred’s Sled Shed successfully sold and serviced Scorpion products and later Echo power equipment. Unfortunately, Scorpion had run its course by 1981. At that point, The Edelmanns shifted to Polaris as their primary brand.
The Edelmann family dealership continued to grow as Polaris industries continued to innovate, expanding from snowmobiles to ATVs to the legendary Ranger line, and later the Polaris RZR. In the mid-2000s, third-generation GM Tim Edelmann brought on Husaberg motorcycles. Immediate success followed, and soon KTM joined the family. Today, Edelmann sales prides themselves on being an enthusiast’s dealership, with racers on both sides of the counter, carrying Polaris, KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Echo, and Timbersled.
