end of the Line?
After a decade with FMF KTM Factory Racing, Kailub Russell called it a career at the conclusion of the 2020 season. The Ohio-born Russell, now 30 years old, has been racing since he was four. He ended his run with a record-shattering eight consecutive AMA Grand National Cross Country Championships and 67 overall wins in XC1 Pro—and he picked up two XC2 titles before that. Russell has also won three Full Gas Sprint Enduro titles, two World Trophy Championships with Team USA at the International Six Days Enduro, multiple gold medals, one AMA National Enduro crown, and more. He leaves at the top of his game in off-road racing, though he won’t be disappearing from the racing scene completely—and that’s why we decided to feature his off-road racing accomplishments on a page called Inside Motocross. Stay tuned.
