Round 16 of the 2020 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship kicks off today at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. This will be the sixth round of seven to complete the season in Salt Lake City.

Wildcard❓🃏 @BlakeBaggett4 has some tricks for Wednesday’s race. “We’re using the time to throw Hail Mary’s at the bike. I’m not in the points chase so we’re trying things we normally wouldn’t try. Last Wednesday we tried Coop’s [Cooper Webb’s] old rear end. Then we’ve got one more setting for Wednesday, and then at the final round we’re going to go for a wild setup and see what happens.” Baggett is at least past the nausea from altitude that hurt him early at SLC. Will he hit on bike setup and run up front❓

Jason Anderson’s strong SLC run was interrupted by others—literally. Two crashes that weren’t his fault ended his race. “I ripped a good start and I went into the second corner in second, and then it kind of turned into a crazy night,” he said. Anderson handed fourth in points back to @JustinBarcia, so expect a podium fight to get those points back tonight 🥊
