Racer X is saddened to report that French rider Steven Lenoir died today (Monday) due to injuries sustained following a crash during qualifying in France. He was 25.
Lenoir, who won the EMX250 championship in 2010 and the British MX2 championship in 2015, was preparing for a race in Cassel. Per the BBC, Lenoir was airlifted to a hospital in Lille following the crash.
Lenoir was currently competing in MX1 in the British Championship where he was second in points.
