  • 2016 KTM 350 SX-F Garage In-Stock Project Update

Since testing our 2016 KTM 350 SX-F, Pro Circuit has produced a new linkage for the bike that made a huge improvement to the handling of the bike. Pro Circuit's suspension department had this to say about the launch of the new product:

“The new 2015 ½ Factory Edition and 2016 model KTMs come equipped with a redesigned OEM linkage system that causes the bike to have a feeling that is too harsh and stagnant, whereas the preceding bike models had an OEM linkage system providing an unwanted lazy and soft feeling. Both of these OEM designs made it difficult to reach optimal handling performance and forced the use of shock springs on both extremes of the spectrum in order to compensate. The new Pro Circuit linkage system utilizes some of the mechanical advantages of both designs, along with additional Pro Circuit research and testing, to allow for the use of a more true-to-weight spring rate and to reach the ultimate sweet spot in handling for your new model KTM or Husqvarna."

We've gone out with Pro Circuit to test the new linkage and found the update made a massive improvement in handling. The linkage allowed us to run a more true-to-weight spring rate and gave the shock a more planted feel as well as significantly improved traction in acceleration chop and sharp, square edge bumps. This change will work on any of the KTM and Husqvarna models and is well worth the money.
