Murrieta, CA – Current FMF KTM Factory Racing Team rider Taylor Robert has inked a deal with KTM’s European Factory Racing Team to compete in the 2016 Enduro World Championship (EWC) Series next year.
The current US-based Factory rider has had a great season after returning from injury early this year. He has landed on the AMA EnduroCross podium at every event he has competed at so far this season. He and his 2016 FMF KTM Factory teammate Cody Webb will race the SuperEnduro Series under the FMF KTM Factory umbrella before Robert moves fully to the European KTM Factory Racing Team to compete in the EWC.
“This has always been a dream of mine to race over in Europe,” stated Robert. “I am honored to be moving to their factory team and to compete against the best European riders over there.”
FMF KTM Factory Team Manager, Antti Kallonen, remarked, “We are all proud of Taylor for his success so far and look forward to seeing him compete full-time in Europe. We hope that having an American racing full-time in the series will bring some more US fans to that series and help grow the enthusiasm for SuperEnduro and EWC Series in North America.”
