Puerto Rico MXoN Team Announced

Gabriel Cátala, Team Manager joins forces once again with “The Professor” Gary Bailey, assistant team manager in forming and announcing the 2011 Motocross of Nations Puerto Rico team. The team will consist of Luis Grana in the MX1 Class; Zach Osborne in the MX2 Class and Jimmy Albertson in the Open class..
MX1: Luis Grana
Luis Grana will be riding a Bike it, Cosworth, Wild Wolf Dixon tuned Yamaha 450.
Grana is the 2010 450 Puerto Rican champion and current points leader in the class, always considered a stubborn and strong rider that will give the euros a hard time.
MX2: Zach Osborne
Zach will be riding a Bike it, Cosworth, Wild Wolf Dixon tuned Yamaha 250. Zach is the 2010 British motocross champion a very strong rider in the Gp’s, got second overall at the GP of France which hosts this years MxoN and holds 4th place in the MX2 class even after missing two races.
Open: Jimmy Albertson
Jimmy has been clawing his way up the ladder in the US Nationals stacked 450 field, since the Spring Creek National he has been in the top ten american riders in the class catching attention around the pits, he has been riding a Valli Motorsports Rockstar Yamaha to some very impressive rides. Jimmy was approached by his friend Zach Osborne to ride along him for Team Puerto Rico, then Zach put us in contact and once offered he accepted. Jimmy has many accomplishments including a year in Europe. In which he was not able to put it together, but, wants to use this opportunity to go back and show everybody across the pond what he’s got.

2010-Mantova Starcross Italy- One on One Competition- Champion
2009 -AMA 450 National MX1 Outdoor Series-10th Overall
Best 2009 MX1 finish-Washougal National -6th Overall
2009 -AMA SX2 {250} - 6th Place Seattle SX (return from injury for final race}
2008-AMA 450 National MX1- RED BULL HONDA replacement rider for Townley at final round
Best 2008 MX1 finishes- 6th Washougal 6th Steel City 8th Budd’s Creek
Overall MX1 AMA series-13th {competed in 7 of 12 events with 5 top ten finishes}
2008 AMA Daytona Supercross -5th Place- Lites {SX2}
