- Red Bull/KTM Supercross Class Race ReportJanuary 10, 2011Anaheim, CA – Red Bull KTM Factory Team rider Andrew Short earned a decent score at the opening round of the AMA Supercross Series with a 10th place result. His teammate, Mike Alessi finished a few positions back in 14th. However, the most impressive part of the night will be awarded to the KTM 350 SX-F which debuted in it’s first-ever AMA Supercross competition with both factory riders easily qualifying into the main.
- Rockstar Energy Suzuki Lites Race ReportJanuary 10, 2011BREA, CA (January 9, 2011) – Rockstar Energy Suzuki chalked up two top ten finishes in the first round of the 2011 AMA/FIM Supercross Lites Championship season last night in Anaheim, CA. Martin Davalos fought back after a trip to the last chance qualifier to a fourth-place finish after a strong ride on his Yoshimura-equipped Suzuki RM-Z250 in the 15-lap lites main event. Teammate Ryan Morais rode a consistent race to place sixth after only days of recovery from a Tuesday practice crash.

- Jimmy Albertson Injury UpdateJanuary 10, 2011Jimmy Albertson suffered a knee injury on his Merge Racing/ Blanco Basura/Troy Lee Honda during the 3rd lap of his 2nd 450 qualifying session last night. Albertson was sitting in 18th overall fastest time after the first session. Albertson thought he could pick up another second and possibly two during the 2nd session, and he was only one second from placing in the top ten in first session.
- GEICO Supercross Team Gets 2011 Off to Solid StartJanuary 10, 2011GEICO Honda rider Kevin Windham got the 2011 Monster Energy Supercross season off to a solid start, finishing sixth at Angel Stadium on his 450cc machine. Teammate Eli Tomac also had a top-10 finish in the 250 Lites class.
- Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey Scores Podium at A1January 10, 2011BREA, CA (January 9, 2011) – The gate dropped on the 2011 AMA/FIM Supercross Championship season last night in Anaheim, CA and Team Rockstar Makita Suzuki was there and ready to race. In one of the most competitive fields in supercross history, Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey and his Yoshimura-equipped Suzuki RM-Z450 were strong all evening long and finished out the night with a second-place podium finish in the first 450 main event of the 17-round season. Teammate Brett Metcalfe piloted his own Suzuki RM-Z450 to an eighth-place finish in the first 450 supercross race of his career.
