MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, would like to cordially invite all members of the GNCC family to the 2016 Ty Kesten Memorial Golf Outing to be held on Saturday, October 8, at the Moon Golf Club in Moon Township, Pennsylvania.
The 1SIX Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people live every day to the fullest. The foundation was created in memory of Ty Kesten who tragically passed away due to a racing accident earlier this year. Ty's legacy continues to live on through the 1SIX Foundation as they follow their mission to give back to those in need.
Players can register as a single player for $150 and either request team members or be placed in a group. All proceeds will benefit the 1SIX Foundation. The day will begin with registration at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Once all 18 holes are played, a buffet dinner will be held at 2:30 p.m. with the awards ceremony to follow.
Ty's competition number was 16, and to honor him the 16th hole will be fully decorated in his memory. Players are encouraged to participate in the decoration of the particular hole, and for $50 you can take part by purchasing a sign that will include a personal message of your choice. All signs will be situated around Ty's dirt bike that will be on display adjacent to the 16th hole.
Two different holes will feature special "Hole in One" prizes including a car and vacation. In addition, there will be multiple door prizes including: a set of golf clubs, a 60-inch television, Steelers football tickets, a Yeti cooler and much more, making this a don't miss event.
GNCC Racing encourages all competitors and their families, either ATV or bike, to consider taking part in this event to help raise funds for the 1SIX Foundation. For more information on the 2016 Ty Kesten Memorial Golf Outing please visit the event website or call (412) 262.2992.
