Every family has a Thanksgiving tradition. Whether it’s throwing the pigskin around the backyard, choking down the yams, or arguing about anything and everything, there are special traditions every family tries to uphold.
For motocross families, that tradition usually begins with a trip to Gatorback Cycle Park in Alachua, Florida (but you call it Gainesville). For the last forty-four years, families from across the country have made the drive to the Sunshine State for the Thor Winter Olympics, a week filled with racing and spending time with your moto family.
This forty-fourth edition ends on Saturday. That's a lot of years, a lot of names and a lot of memories. Luckily, our man Davey Coombs has a photo (and sticker, and Instagram sign) collection like no one else. In the back of the office, we found these rare Mini Os gems shot by the great Thom "Action Photos" Veety. Have a look.
