I’m pleased to announce the launch of the EMIG47 brand, which can be found at www.emig47.com. Building off of the success of the EMIG V2 lock-on grip by ODI, my partners and I found we needed an outlet to bring our decades of experience in the sport of motocross/supercross to the motocross community.
Initially, we are backing the EMIG grip with a line of branded apparel, starting with hats and tees. Our plan is to tap into our passion for design and innovation to build a range of incredible products for the core motocross lifestyle. Our growing line of products are available in the EMIG47 online store, as well as our local and online retail partners around the world.
For me the most exciting opportunity the new website offers is having a platform to share my experiences and relationship with the sport. Motocross has been my life since 1975, and over the course of four decades I’ve seen it all. I hope to bring my perspective on racing, training, and the dirt bikes lifestyle to enthusiasts everywhere. As the color analyst for Monster Energy Supercross on the FOX Networks, I have unlimited access to the highest level of supercross racing in the world, so look for weekly blog entries showing an inside, real life perspective.
I also have a passion for helping my customers enjoy a better riding/racing experience. I’ll regularly be posting lessons to improve riding skills, pro training tips and hand picking products I believe can help you improve, like Ryno Power supplements and Marc Pro conditioning and recovery devices. In addition, the support of my network of friends, current and former SX/MX and FMX champions, will be featured on the site offering training/riding tips.
I’m fortunate my career takes me around the world. In the past twelve months alone, I’ve traveled to Chilé for the Shift MX Ride on Tour, joined Ricky Carmichael and the gang for the RCU events, explored Utah and Colorado on a KLR650 with the great folks from Rocky Mountain MC/ATV on the EMIG Ride, and performed broadcasts for SX and MXGP. Along the way I see some amazing places and meet some interesting people. I will be telling these stories through www.emig47.com.
My partners and I are excited about the opportunities EMIG47 brand brings to our customers, and to us. We all love riding dirt bikes with our families, racing motocross, and watching all professional dirt bike racing disciplines from around the world. We know we share this passion with the most loyal, core group of enthusiasts found anywhere. Together we are going to work hard to create a brand dedicated to delivering a fun, in-depth motocross experience to our customers and friends.
