MXGP.com is reporting that Team USA riders Justin Barica, Cooper Webb and Jeremy Martin will race the final round of the FIM World Motocross Championship at Glen Helen on September 20 in preparation for the Motocross of Nations the following week.
Team USA joins a list of American teams that include KTM and Husqvarna teams. In May, KTM announced they would send both the 250 and 450 Red Bull Factory KTM teams, which include Ryan Dungey, Dean Wilson, Justin Hill, and Marvin Musquin. Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil KTM will also send their entire squad, currently made up of Jessy Nelson, Shane McElrath, Mitchell Oldenburg, and Darryn Durham. Team BTOSports.com KTM, consisting of Andrew Short and Justin Brayton, is also scheduled to compete.
This lineup could change as Durham, Hill, Oldenburg and Brayton are all dealing with injuries.
Husqvarna announced it would send its factory squad—Rockstar Energy Racing Husqvarna—consisting of Jason Anderson, Christophe Pourcel, Martin Davalos, Zach Osborne, and Zach Bell.
Again, this will change as Bell is currently sidelined with injury.
Kawasaki announced this week that they would be supporting teams coming over from Europe and an official lineup will be confirmed soon.
