FLORESVILLE, Texas — The Loretta Lynn’s opening South Central Area Qualifier will be hosted at Cycle Ranch on February 21-22, 2015. Riders from across the country will head to Floresville, TX to battle for a qualifying spot to the most prestigious amateur race, the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL.
In 2014 Cycle Ranch hosted the largest Area Qualifier in its region. This year, being the opener for area qualifying, a higher attendance is expected.
“We are really excited to have the opening qualifier for such a prestigious event,” Iain Grae, Owner of Cycle Ranch, said. “In the last two years heavy investment has been put into Cycle Ranch making it arguably the best facility for motocross in the country. Riders will have amazing racing conditions on the track, while friends and family will be able to watch from a park like atmosphere. With the help of Red Bull we will have entertainment on Saturday evening for those looking to unwind.”
Area Qualifiers serve as the first step for riders to make it to Loretta Lynn’s, followed by Regional Championships to seed out the best riders in the country. The Rocky Mountain ATV/ MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship will take place at Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
