David Philippaerts rode to a stunning win today at Round 2 of the Italian Motocross Championship at Castiglione del Lago. The former MX1 World Champion won over Max Nagl and Jeremy Van Horebeek. Defending MXGP World Champion Antonio Cairoli finished fifth. Last week’s winner Gautier Paulin sat out the weekend.

Max Nagl won the Elite Class over Tommy Searle and Philippaerts. In MX2, Tim Gajser won over Benoit Paturel and Alessandro D’Angelo.
