Santa Monica, Calif. – From a 1/2-mile straight supercross track in the heart of Southern California, an NBC audience will witness the first-ever Red Bull Straight Rhythm unfold featuring 32 top motocross riders including Travis Pastrana and James Stewart. The one-of-its kind competition is part of the Red Bull Signature Series, the most progressive collection of action sports events in the world. For action sports star Travis Pastrana, the event marks his return to competitive motocross racing after a five-year hiatus.

Presented by Dodge Dart and brought to a national television audience in partnership with GoPro, Polaris RZR and BF Goodrich, Red Bull Straight Rhythm is the evolution of supercross and features thirty-two riders racing head-to-head on a one-of-a-kind half-mile-long "unwound" track with no turns. The straight course isolates more than eighty jumps, challenging riders to focus on maintaining top speed while also reading the difficult terrain directly in front of them, and while racing against another rider just a few feet away.
“Red Bull Straight Rhythm is exactly what I wished was around twelve years ago,” said Pastrana. “It’s going to be a great experience for me to get back on the bike, keep it a two-stroke, and ride a 500cc for the first time in my life.”
Sal Masekela, the definitive voice in action sports, hosts the Red Bull Signature Series all year long on NBC. Red Bull Straight Rhythm Airs Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on NBC, featuring Travis Pastrana and James Stewart.
