Innovation Training Systems owner Kirk Layfield, Ph.D. EMT-P is pleased to announce that he will be hosting an American Heart Association (AHA) CPR/AED/First Aid class at Gatorback Cycle Park prior to the start of the Florida Winter Olympics. The course will be held Sunday, November 23, at 3 p.m. and will provide a two-year AHA certification card for all participants. The course is appropriate for parents, mechanics, siblings, private, and public track owners, as well as riding coaches and trainers. Additional topics of interest included in the curriculum will be fitness, nutrition, sports medicine, and legal issues as they pertain to each topic. The cost of the course is $35 per person. Proceeds will benefit the efforts of Team Florida – USA to compete at The World Police and Fire Games MX event held at Budds Creek Motocross Park in June of 2015.
