Last week, Todd Krieg, a young professional from Ohio, went down in a practice crash while preparing for the 2015 season. The crash resulted in partially collapsed lung, broken ribs, two broken collarbones, bleeding behind the eye and damage to the T4 vertebra. The T4 injury has left Krieg paralyzed from his chest down.
Krieg is currently in ICU at Grant Medical, a Trauma Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, two and half hours from his Cleveland suburb home. The family is hoping to get Todd closer to home, but insurance does not cover everything. The family has opened a page on GoFundMe and is selling t-shirts on his website to help raise money. A raffle has been created to win a motorcycle, with all proceeds going to the family.
Everyone at Racer X Online would like to extend their thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of the Kreigs during this most difficult time. Stay strong, Todd.
