Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey backed up his impressive win at Indianapolis and a podium finish on the rough and rutted Daytona track. The proud Minnesotan doesn’t have time to listen to any detractors or cristism because he’s busy racking up wins and podiums with seven rounds to go in this championship battle. That is no surprise to us since we’ve known Ryan since his amateur days, and he’s always been just about doing work. No drama, just work. We’ll catch up with Ryan at his Florida compound before he heads into the snow and cold that awaits in Detroit this weekend.
Red Bull KTM’s Ken Roczen started off his rookie 450 season with an impressive win at Anaheim 1 and isn’t looking to use his first year after moving up for anything but a championship run. Kenny already has six podiums this year, including last weekend at the historic Daytona round. We look forward to covering that and more tonight with the speedy German that fans have adopted here in the US.
We sometimes throw around the endearing term “old-school” a bit too often, but TwoTwo Motorsports team manager Dave Osterman has well-earned the honor and respect throughout the pits for his efforts and contributions over the last few decades. He won a championship wrenching for Mike Bell in 1980 and hasn’t looked back since. He’s been a part of Chad Reed’s team from day one and we wanted to check in after they were forced to rewrite the playbook mid-season when their patriarch went down with an injury. Dave is known for his honest interviews and we always enjoy having him on the show!
