  • Unadilla Announces 2014 MX Rewind
New Berlin, NY (January 17, 2014)- Unadilla Motocross is pleased to announce that MX Rewind 2014 will be held on May 30th- June 1st. The event, which is just in its third year, is quickly establishing itself as the preeminent vintage and historical dirt bike event in the United States.

In its first two years, MX Rewind has proven to be so popular amongst the vintage riding community that it has become the one largest vintage motorcycle events held in the United States. As in years past, the event will start on Friday with AHRMA vintage cross country racing. New this year will be the addition of trials competition on Friday as well. AHRMA motocross racing will be held on Saturday and Sunday on the Unadilla Pro National track. Since it is the first event of the year, participants can expect many sections of the track to still be covered in the green grass that made Unadilla famous.

"We are truly grateful to the riders, collectors and fans of the vintage community for their support of this event. We hear from so many of them that being able to race on the hollowed grounds of Unadilla is the highlight of their racing year" said Greg Robinson, the second generation owner of Unadilla. "We extend an invitation to all those who have joined us in the past, as well as those that have not yet experienced MX Rewind and all that it has to offer, to join us once again for another great event. It is our goal to make this into one of the best attended vintage events of the year"

MX Rewind started in 2011 as a fun way for riders and fans to remember the good times from our over forty years of racing, while still being able to get out there and enjoy the famous and hallowed grounds at Unadilla.

As in years past, Unadilla will have a large contingent of famous racers on hand and the weekend will also feature an enhanced swap meet and bike show. For those who have a bike that is not quite of the AHRMA vintage eras but in the 1978-1998 years, promoter added MX support classes are offered. To celebrate Unadilla's 45th anniversary, the Unadilla archive has been redesigned with new historical pictures. While undoubtedly MX Rewind is all about racing, there is plenty to do off the track as well. Meet and greets, autograph sessions and nightly entertainment await riders and fans.

Further Information on MX Rewind 2014 can be found at www.unadillamx.com/rewind/ or by calling 607/965-8450.
