Bell, Wharton on DMXS Radio
You can say what you want about GEICO’s Zach Bell, but nobody can deny the pure determination this kid has on every lap he’s on the track. The pro transition is not an easy path for any rider, and no one is immune to the sharp learning curve of that huge step up. Zach has the work ethic and talent to get there, and we have no doubt that he will. We’ll get his thoughts on the season thus far and lessons learned along the way in his short, but exciting professional career.
There are some sponsors that just align with the planets and truly define a rider during their career. Rockstar’s Blake Wharton could not be more definitive of his alter ego and love for music along with racing dirt bikes for a living. The independent and unique Texan combines the love for both and looks like a combo of Prince and Slash on track-walk. We’ve known him and his supportive family since the minibike days and have always enjoyed Blake’s take on the world. We’ll catch up with him as the series heads to Indy where he just happened to win last year.
DMXS Radio’s roots are in amateur motocross and we love this time of year as the hopeful aspirations of the next generation of young riders begin the next mile on their journey. We’ve been fortunate to announce at Millcreek, Ricky Carmichael’s Amateur Supercross at Daytona, and this week at Oak Hill where Kevin Kelly will be calling in with a live update and bench-racing session from the last two weeks of amateur racing. He’ll be rounding up some of the top prospects racing for an impromptu DMXS mini-show from the track in Texas.
Check out www.StickerApp.com and www.CaseApp.com for custom sticker sheets and iPhone cases, including cool examples of rider cases. The websites feature a web application with file upload and very simple drag and drop features with the ability to rotate, resize and change background colors and more. We will be giving away some custom iPhone cases in the next few weeks to help get the word out since they are from some of our core moto friends! Check them out now!
