BTOSports.com Toronto Recap
Toronto, ON - The BTOSports.com traveled to our friends up north in Toronto, Canada for Rd. 12 of the Monster Energy /AMA Supercross Series. The technical track would showcase great racing in front of a crowd of almost 48,000 fans. The BTOsports.com team riders Jimmy Albertson, Jason Thomas and Matt Goerke qualified well and they were ready to tackle the tough Toronto track.
In the heat race, Matt Goerke and “Top” Jimmy Albertson would blast out of the gate and ride well, securing spots in the main event with an 8th and 9th place finish. A troubled start would hinder Jason Thomas in his heat race and would have to go to the LCQ. In the LCQ, JT$ would not find a transfer spot in to the main event this weekend.
The main event would see Goerke and Albertson rocket out of the gate. As the track started to deteriorate, both Team BTOsports.com riders would keep it on two wheels and race the track together to finish 14th and 15th. A solid performance on the tough Toronto track.
“This is a good night for the team.” said team manager Forrest Butler . “Toronto has always been great to us and to have both Goerke and Albertson finishing strong here on this track is great sign for the rest of the season.”
