10th Annual International Baja Brawl
Best described as a Summertime Motocross Festival, the Baja Brawl will once again welcome thousands of friends and families to the sprawling 85 acre property to experience a fun-filled vacation weekend, and one last hoorah before bidding summer farewell for 2011. With another year come further additions to an event that has grown not only in scope, but also in recognition and attendance:
“This 10 year anniversary is really special for us and all the people that have made the Baja Brawl a summertime tradition for themselves and their friends” said owner Patrick Grzebinski. “We’ve grown so much over the last several years, and have been really successful, thanks mostly in part to our loyal fans—THEY have made the Baja Brawl what it is today.”
Patrick went on to talk about the wide variety of events that are spread over the 4-day event, saying that while Motocross is the focus and core of the Baja Brawl, other events have been created to make sure that everyone has something to do while visiting the Baja Acres facility:
“Fun is the overwhelming priority here” said Patrick. “The Brawl weekend features a 200’ Slip and Slide, a winch park with free wakeboard and wakeskate demos, Golf Cart and Side by Side races, BMX freestyle pond jump… the list goes on and on.”
The Labor Day Weekend event will also feature a variety of musical acts including “The Directive”, as well as Brandon Mays his tribute song titled “Heaven’s Calling 811”, which will take place during a Saturday Night party thrown in Josh Lichtle’s honor. Contests with prizes and monetary incentives include; the Action Water Sports $2,000 Wake Jam, $1,000 Freestyle BMX Pond Jump, $500 AGA Skateboard Hi-Ollie Contest, $5,000 Josh Lichtle 811 Motocross Pro-Am, $100 Holeshots on Monday, and more.
