This week's collection comes from Bismarck, North Dakota's Corey Jesser:
"This was my dad's 1973 Yamaha MX360. He bought it in 1976 for $480; I still have his original bill of sale and the original Certificate of Origin from Yamaha. A few years later my dad bought me a 1974 Yamaha MX80 that looked just like his, it was on my 5th birthday. We had many of great times riding together, memories that I will cherish forever. In 1984 I was riding his bike because I blew up my 1979 Yamaha IT175 and guess what--I blew his up. He had a bad shoulder so his riding days were pretty much over. The bike sat under a tarp in our barn until 1991. I came home from the Army because my dad and mom were selling the farm and I told him I wanted his bike to restore someday. I then tore it down, put it into the trunk of my car and took it back to Ft. Campbell, Tennessee. I've been hauling it around ever since. Well, 19 years later with the help of the internet and some luck I finally finished it! My dad passed away in 1994, but I know that he is looking down and loving seeing his bike completely restored. I will pass this bike on to my son someday and hopefully he will cherish it as much as I do."
