Chasing the Dream - Xtra is a web based series culled from the acclaimed Chasing the Dream television program and the tenth webisode features RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John's/Suzuki Factory Racing's Ken Roczen as he captures his first Main Event win of the 2016 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, at the first-ever race from the University of Phoenix Stadium in front of 53,055 fans.
In this webisode of Chasing the Dream -Xtra, fans see Roczen as he prepares mentally and physically for the supercross season at the Suzuki Test Track in Corona, CA. It is here that he discusses the highs and lows of being an elite athlete and where his motivation comes from.
Chasing the Dream - Xtra picks the story up at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Phoenix, AZ. Going into the 5th round, Dungey led 56% of the laps of the season and he seemed to be unstoppable. When the gate dropped, Roczen jumped out of the start with intensity. This push put him in the perfect position to be the first 450SX Main Event winner in the University of Phoenix Stadium. Roczen took the checkered flag over four seconds ahead of Dungey. The cameras captured the ecstatic moments after Roczen's victory as he celebrated with RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John's/Suzuki Factory Racing co-owners Carey Hart and Ricky Carmichael. Also, 3-time Grammy Award winner, P!nk, was there to congratulate Roczen on his Main Event win.
