Rider Down Announcement
January 29, 2010, 3:33pm
RiderDown.org is happy to announce the addition of 2 event representatives for the 2010 NEPG National Enduro Series. Wade Wasinger of Lenexa, KS and Cooper Swanson of Topeka, KS will be attending all 10 rounds of the NEPG schedule which starts this January with the 41rst Annual Sumter National. They will be on hand to answer questions, provide support literature as well as staff a donation table the day prior to the race. They will be attending various BlackJack Enduro Circuit events as well, providing the same services for racers and fans alike. Both Wade and Cooper are avid off road riders/racers and look forward to helping further the cause of the RiderDown Foundation.
Cooper is the Forward Motion/Kansas Hare Scramble overall champion for 2010 and relatively new to RiderDown. Wade is a veteran enduro rider as well as past MX racer with over 30 years riding experience. He first became involved with RiderDown during a gift and charity drive he organized late fall of 2008 for an injured rider in his community (some of you may remember Santa Claus on the KTM530 delivering gifts on a snowy day in December). Since then, Wade has taken the cause to heart and is excited to be lending a helping hand to RiderDown for many years to come.
Please feel free to stop by the booth and say "HI!" at any of these events and show your support for RiderDown.
About RiderDown Foundation:
With a nationwide network of volunteers ready to lend support and assistance to injured riders, RiderDown is actively giving back to the off road community. As a non-profit, 501©3 charitable organization, RiderDown has been delivering on its mission of “Helping Riders Up” since 2005. Dedicated to helping responsible off-road motorcyclists and ATV racers who have been injured while riding, proceeds are used to provide assistance to riders and their families when faced with medical expenses and related issues. The medical bill review team they work with has saved injured riders thousands of dollars on excessive and/or unnecessary medical charges and their “Angels” visit injured riders in the hospital and at home, offering a friendly voice during difficult times. To find out more about RiderDown and ways you can help, go to www.RiderDown.org or contact them at info@RiderDown.org.
