Host Grindstone Friesen Group race team preseason catch up: riders Dylan Walsh & Max Stanford’s have had a solid preseason of training for the boys. With the team having to jump through some obstacles with where they were going to ride and train in California due to losing their private supercross track at Lake Elsinore, they felt fortunate to have the guys at Fox Raceway at Pala and Hemet provide an alternative place to ride and train.

Cari Schehr, team owner, manager, and trainer says, “Working with Dylan and Max has been pretty effortless since the both of them have so much drive, dedication and work ethic on and off the bike it makes training them easy. Both being unique in their own riding styles it’s been awesome to see them each excel and I’m looking forward to the season together!

With one of the teams new sponsors @costaricacollection, Grindstone Training Facility had the opportunity this season to take a quick holiday break to Costa Rica with a full seven-day travel experience at Ojachal Gardens.

They traveled to beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica, had five-star dinners, and waterfall massages at Oxygen Jungle Villas, traveled to the Corcovado Wilderness Lodge, and the biodiversity of Corcovado National Park, the most diverse park in the world and finished off for a sunset dinner cruise on the Brisa Elegante: a unique sailing experience on a 102ft cruising sailboat, touring the islands of Manuel Antonio.
