Josh Grant will have first gate pick tomorrow after topping qualifying today in the final round of the FIM World Motocross Championship at Glen Helen. Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha’s Cooper Webb finished second in his first 450 outdoor race in the US. Romain Febvre, who has already clinched the 2015 World Championship, finished third. Jason Anderson, Antonio Cairoli, Gautier Paulin, Shaun Simpson, Jeremy Van Horebeek, Max Nagl and Marvin Musquin would round out the top ten.
In MX2, Lucas Oil/Troy Lee Designs Shane McElrath took the win ahead of Valentin Guillod and Tim Gajser. McElrath’s teammate Jessy Nelson finished sixth, while Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Chris Alldredge finished tenth.
