Corona, Calif.  –Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Red Bull/KTM’s Jessy Nelson, Shane McElrath, and Mitchell Oldenburg are all looking toward the finish line of the 2015 season with four races remaining in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, starting with the only Pacific Northwest stop at Washougal MX Park this weekend. With so much racing under their belts this season, we decided to take a break and have a little fun and ask them a few ‘Would You Rather’ questions as we head to the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. Hear what they had to say!

Jessy Nelson

Would you rather have your clutch go out during a race or your brakes?
Answer: I would have to say rear brake because I could still get through the race…But both brakes gone—no way!

Would you rather give up your bike or your cell phone for six months?
Answer: Cell phone for sure!

Would you rather be able to sing or dance?
Answer: Dance. Girls like a guy who can dance. Haha.

Would you rather be on the cover of a magazine or be in a viral video?
Answer: Magazine, no doubt. I had a great time shooting my last cover with Transworld MX in the snow.

Would you rather be stranded on an island alone or with someone you couldn’t stand?
Answer: Probably someone I couldn’t stand because I'm sure we could figure out our differences.

Shane McElrath

Would you rather have your clutch go out during a race or your brakes?
Answer: It depends on the track, and if it’s my front or rear brakes. I can’t ride without my front brakes.

Would you rather give up your bike or your cell phone for six months?
Answer: Definitely my cell phone. I can remember numbers!

Would you rather be able to sing or dance?
Answer: Dance! I can already sing [we would love to hear sometime]. It just depends on who you ask whether it’s good or not!

Would you rather be on the cover of a magazine or be in a viral video?
Answer: Magazine! Everyone sees the cover.

Would you rather be stranded on an island alone or with someone you couldn’t stand?
Answer: Well, I would say I wouldn’t want to be alone, and since I can get along with anyone, it’s a win-win! 

Mitchell Oldenburg

Would you rather have your clutch go out during a race or your brakes?
Answer: That’s a tough one…can I pick neither? Sean Trihey, my mechanic, has my bike dialed!

Would you rather give up your bike or your cell phone for six months?
Answer: Cell Phone.

Would you rather be able to sing or dance?
Answer: I would say dance.

Would you rather be on the cover of a magazine or be in a viral video?
Answer: Magazine. It's a lot different when you see it in stores or anywhere.

Would you rather be stranded on an island alone or with someone you couldn’t stand?
Answer: I think I could make it alive by myself, haha.
