Murrieta, CA – Rockstar Energy Factory Husqvarna Racing officially has two 2015 East Coast round under its belt.
Jason Anderson – The Rookie – came out blazing at Anaheim 1 with a 2nd place in his first official premiere class Supercross race. He looks comfortable running the pace and being near the front. Jason has a lot of potential in the 450 class and it will shine through as the series moves east with more podiums and his first victory.
Zach Osborne came into 2015 with championship aspirations. He looked great in practice at A1 and early in his heat race. Then when hit in a corner by another rider, he was sprawled into an oncoming lane and broke his thumb. He was incredibly able to match his teammate Anderson and give Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing a double podium on the night. This was a great return for the legendary brand. It was been tough and trying on him but miraculously, he currently sits just 4 points out of second place as the series heads east. He will take this short time off of racing to get back to 100%.
Zach Bell came into this season as a bit of a wild card. Always possessing blazing speed throughout his amateur career. This season, his main goal was to stay healthy and find comfort in his speed. Thus far he has done pretty well. Going into the time off, he can focus on testing for outdoors and improving where he needs to.
Martin Davalos "The likeable Ecuadorian" was on his way to winning the first championship of his career last year in the 2014 East Coast 250 series. Due to an injury at the practice track, Martin was actually unable to ride again until late in the year in 2014. Since it had been so long since he raced, he lined up in Oakland on the Husqvarna FC450 to get some gate time. He looked really good in his first 450 race and first time he had competed in almost a year. Davalos then, went back to focus on the 250. His 250 debut at Arlington last weekend was a challenging one for him personally. He returns this weekend in Atlanta surrounded by a large group of family and certainly as one of the favorites for the title.
Over the last several months, we have been planning and researching the market beyond racing. We discovered several interesting items. One of the items in particular was the web and communication with the fans. Team Manager, Dave Gowland says, "Communications with our fans has become more important with each season. This year we've, in my opinion, taken it to a new level. We set out to be different and progressive. With the addition of Husqvarna, sharing the vision for pioneering, it was only fitting to celebrate our 10th year showcasing our partners like Rockstar Energy Drink, Bel-Ray and many others who have chartered this journey with us over the last several years. We wanted to offer another media platform to highlight all of our partners".
Thus, the company wanted to take a moment to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of HRH Racing with a new website, www.hrhracing.com. This new site will be added to our media platform which includes the existing team race website www.RockstarEnergyRacing.com.
The new website offers a clean approach to motocross racing and is filled with unique content. We sat down with owner Bobby Hewitt and had him tell us the story of the team. There are stories of the successes, challenges and future endeavors for the team and its partners. Being a part of the concentrated motocross industry can prove to be difficult at times to differentiate one team from another, we believe the website is different than any other team site and sheds a bit of light on the direction the team is moving.
Year 10 for us marks a very important milestone for both the heritage and future of the sport. One unique item the team is offering is that you can become an HRH Race Team Member. Becoming a member gets fans access to exclusive sweepstakes, entrance to a VIP Fan Area at the race events, along with a sign on kit that includes HRH member gear.
