As the penultimate round of the Suzuki Best In Georgia Series rolls into Highland Park Resort, in Cedartown, GA on September 20-21 a new charity and fundraising event with a down south southern hospitality feel will be making it's debut!! Back To The Track will be bringing together some old friends and faces for an announcing extravaganza, in an effort to raise money for a few of our injured and fallen brothers from the Southeast. All proceeds are to be divided equally between Chase Borders, Drew Roberts, and John Belknap, who all have been wheelchair bound for over a decade. Their insurance has long been exhausted yet their care will always remain critical. With a joint effort in bringing this feel good, fund raising story together, Matt Shue (Highland Park MX Operations Manager), local MX journalist & legendary announcer Joey Casey, longtime privateer pro and vet racer....turned road cycling hero Chris Withers and the most recent local MX announcer to hit the scene and marketing/graphic design guru Justin Odom, have all pulled together something that could prove to be another Southern amateur mx event worthy of not missing!! Thanks to the many donations flowing in from Fly, Pirelli, KTM, and various top Southeast pros like Broc Tickle, to be auctioned off which will be divided up equally between the three. On top of the time spent planning this event with multiple phone calls and emails and favors called in; Chris Withers, Justin Odom and Joey Casey will be announcing the racing action all weekend, along with donating their pay to the Back To The Track fund. Back To The Track would also like to thank Paul Wright and Matt Shue at Highland Park MX for their support as the event host. If your plans have not already been made to attend the BIG (Best In Georgia) Series race at Highland Park MX September 20-21, we hope you will do so now and help us support some extended moto family members who could use all of our support.
