RIP Steve "TFS" Bruhn

Racer X is sad to report the death of pioneering motocross photographer Steve "TFS" Bruhn, who passed away yesterday after suffering a heart attack in the Memphis area.

A former motocross racer growing up, TFS (The Factory Spectator) was the first photographer in the sport to truly embrace digital photography, and the first digital photos ever to appear in the pages of Racer X Illustrated were shot by him. He was also a driving force online, writing race reports and managing forums for several years before a career change back into engineering took him away from the races, but he remained a fan and occasional visitor to the races.

Our thoughts are with Steve's family in this difficult time.
