SPY OPTIC™ LAUNCHES THE ALL-NEW WHIP™ AND TARGA3™ MX GOGGLES
All-new MX frames bring new levels of comfort and clarity to SPY® line

CARLSBAD, Calif.– SPY Optic™ today announced the release of two brand-new motocross frames,  welcoming the Whip™ and Targa3™  to its goggle line known for race-proven function and progressive design.

“All of the frame and strap colors look so good this year,” says SPY® team rider and 2011 Feld Motorsports "Fans Choice" Honoree Kevin Windham. “It's hard to decide which one I want to race with. But whatever I choose, I know I'll be backed with the best vision and comfort of any goggle on the track.”

The Whip™ advances facial comfort with triple-layer Isotron™ face foam with Dri-Force® fleece and it comes with a free nose guard. The Targa3™ comes in ergonomic Isotron™ face foam with Dri-Force™ fleece. Both goggles features maximized venting; anti-fogging, scratch-resistant Lexan® lens with posts and silicone ribbed strap.

“When I first put the new Whip™ goggle on my face, I immediately noticed that I could see everywhere,” says professional MX racer and SPY® endorser Derek Anderson. “My peripheral vision was excellent and the best thing was that it wasn’t hard to get into my helmet and fit without that goofy, wide-face goggle look.

“The goggles fit perfect on my face and really did a great job holding sweat. I sweat like an animal on the track. Both the Whip™ and Targa3™ tamed my pores... great absorption in two insane goggles.”

MSRP for the Whip™ is $45 to $70, which is available in the SPY® + Hibbert, SPY® + Keep A Breast, SPY® + Real Tree, SPY®+ Tony Cairoli, Black Enduro, Black Sabbath, Horrific, Jamrock, Predator, Throwback Purple, White Enduro, and White Sabbath colorways. MSRP for the Targa3 is $35 to $40 and is available in Black Sabbath, Brooklyn Blue, Bubble Gum, Califas, Red Dawn, Throwback Black and Yellow, Varsity, White Sabbath and X Wing colorways.

Whip™ and Targa3™ lenses are available in clear/smoke photochromic, smoke, smoke with silver mirror, persimmon, light blue, smoke with light blue Spectra™, clear with silver mirror, yellow, smoke with red Spectra™ and smoke with green Spectra™. Accessory options include tear-offs, CVS™ roll-off system and SAS® sweat pads.
