Weimer/Sipes/Bogle/Dream Traxx on DMXS Radio Tonight
March 16, 2011, 3:25pm
Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer suffered a broken arm just a week before Anaheim 1 and forced the 2010 West Supercross Lites Champion to postpone his 450 debut a few months. Jake is back on the bike testing and will check in from Florida with the latest about his much anticipated return tonight.
DNA Shredstix/Star Racing/Yamaha’s Ryan Sipes scored his first win last weekend with a near flawless day from start to finish. The popular Kentuckian finally found a way to translate his impressive speed into the night show to the delight of his hometown crowd. We’ve known Ryan since his Team Green amateur days and thought this day would have come much sooner, but wanted to add our congratulations tonight as he prepares to back it up in Jacksonville.
Geico Powersports Honda’s Justin Bogle is a name you will hear plenty about in the next few years. Geico has an impressive record of nurturing amateur talent and Justin is another rider in their capable program that will follow in the steps of Canard, Barcia, Tomac and Wharton. Justin will be checking in from the Oak Hill national championship in Texas.
Dream Traxx’s Jason Baker is fortunate enough to build supercross and motocross tracks all over the world for a living. He is currently sculpting Justin Barcia’s outdoor track this week and will get off the loader long enough for this interview. His impressive resume of clients includes Stewart, Villopoto, Canard and also designed and built the tracks for Chad Reed’s Australian SX series in 2009 and 2010. You can drool over some of his work at www.dreamtraxx.com.
Don’t forget about calling into our toll free DMXS Vent line at 1-855-HEY-DMXS. You can vent, complain, praise or just say hello, and we will play back the most original submissions on the show the following week. Let’s hear what you’ve got!
