WIR Open Pro Night

Waterman, IL – The Waterman International Raceway (WIR) will host an open pro night for Supercross, Arenacross, and local pro riders on Tuesday, March 17, 2009.  The groomed indoor track will be open free of charge from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. to all AMA Professional riders looking for a place to practice.

“With the Supercross in St. Louis and the Arenacross finale in Kentucky we thought we could help out any riders looking to get in a little practice” said Dave Antolak, one of the owners of WIR.  “The cold wet weather has left the outdoor tracks a mess, so we may be the only track in the area available to anyone.

WIR is also hosting a race on March 21 for those riders not making the trip to either point south.  Many sponsors have stepped forward to help put together over $2000.00 worth of cash and merchandise to be awarded at the event.
