BooKoo Awards Record Arenacross Payout With Inaugural Series

Season Ends With Packed House and Celebration in Tulsa Oklahoma!

Ft. Worth, TX February 16, 2006 – Mike Kidd Entertainment Group – held the Awards Banquet for the 2006 K&N presents BooKoo Arenacross Championship Series Brought to you by Toyota at the Cherokee Resort and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma February 12th with Team Babbitt's Enxus Oil Kawasaki's Josh Demuth taking home the largest portion of the record payout.

Demuth withstood a season full of ups and downs to take home the 250, 450 and overall championship titles in the inaugural BooKoo Arenacross series along with $36,000 in year-end bonus money on top of his weekend earnings.

Fun Center TLD/PPG Suzuki's Shane Bess grabbed the second largest share of the point fund payouts with $20,000 and Tom Hofmaster and his Sano Systems PPG Shogun Motion Yamaha took home an extra $18,500 for his efforts.

Team BooKoo Energy Proton 1 Dallas Honda rider Tiger Lacey took home $7500 for winning the Dash for Cash Championship point fund plus $8,600 in other winnings - for a total of $16,100 in year-end bonus money.

In addition to the point fund awards, Mike Kidd Entertainment Group also awarded the following to recognize others who performed above and beyond in the series:

Entertainer of the Year: Trevor Vines

Most Improved Rider: Travis Bannister – Sharp Racing

Hard Luck Award: Josh Woods – Fun Center TLD/PPG Suzuki

Mechanic of the Year: Randy Demuth – Babbitt’s Enxus Oil Kawasaki

Manufacturer of the Year: American Suzuki

Rookie of the Year: Casey Hinson – Team BooKoo Proton 1 Dallas Honda

Most Dedicated: Tony Scavo and Danya Plontz

Truck Driver of the Year: Guy McClure

Utility Player of the Year: Bill Artsburger

Dash for Cash Champion: Tiger Lacey – Team BooKoo Proton 1 Dallas Honda

250 Pro Champion: Josh Demuth – Babbitt’s Enxus Kawasaki
