Pit Posse Riders Canard & Barcia Deliver Supercross Wins for a 2nd Time
March 22, 2011 1:30pm
St. Petersburg, Florida - Pit Posse Motorsports riders, Trey Canard and Justin Barcia, both delivered Supercross wins in round eleven of the 2011 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series, an FIM World Championship, at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, FL. Trey Canard won his second Supercross 450 Main and Justin Barcia, the series points leader, took his second 1st place win in the 250 East Lites race of 2011.
Trey does it again! By the end of the first lap of the main, Trey had a big lead and held onto his lead through the first 10 laps riding smooth and steady. With only 3 laps left in the race, Chad Reed suddenly came up from his 2nd place spot and rode neck and neck with Trey. Going into the last lap, Trey had a slight lead over Reed with enough to take the win! One thing Trey knows for sure is the importance of a good start and staying up front. The fight for the finish with Reed made his win that much sweeter! With two first place finishes in his rookie year racing in the 450 class, Trey has much to be thankful for!
Going into the main, Justin wanted the race bad. He had crashed hard in practice and in the heat race. Barcia was able to clear his head and take the holeshot. Barcia held onto a five second lead for most of the main because of his determination. Barcia, the point series leader, not only held the lead through the entire 250 main but did it with a brace on his wrist with two broken bones. Justin Barcia got what he wanted…Round 11 of the 250 main!
The Pit Posse crew is so proud of Canard and Barcia. With more excitement to come, the 2011 Supercross season still has some more history to make for Pit Posse riders Trey Canard and Justin Barcia.
Pit Posse is Trey Canard and Justin Barcia’s #1 choice to stay organized and ready to race! During the 2011 Supercross season, both riders use and endorse Pit Posse products.
