Fifty years ago, Suzuki launched the RM line of dirt bikes (RM stands for Race Machine) to the global motorcycling market. They’ve been competing at the highest levels of moto ever since. In 2025, Suzuki and their RM Army celebrated the 50th anniversary of the RM line by hosting two semi-private riding events on opposite sides of the country, called the Suzuki RM Army Boot Camps. This was a chance to honor the brand’s rich history and showcase their latest offerings.
Suzuki certainly knew the neighborhood well when they chose Pleasure Valley Raceway in Pennsylvania for the eastern RM Army Boot Camp. It was practically the home track for future Suzuki factory riders Travis Pastrana, who went from minicycle and schoolboy titles (right) to 125 AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross Championships, and Broc Hepler (60), who joined the professional team in 2004.
