

AMA Pro Motocross rookie Carter Dubach is well down the runway towards a successful career, just not one as a motocross racer

“Racing? I don’t know… It was honestly never really a big thing for me as a kid.” And so began my conversation with Carter Dubach, who at 19 years old had managed to qualify for the first two rounds of the 2023 AMA Pro Motocross Championship aboard his Dubach Racing Development Yamaha YZ250F motorcycle. Qualifying for an outdoor national or a supercross is a big accomplishment for any competitive racer, as well as a huge step forward in their career. But for Dubach, it was more of a bucket-list deal to check off. Besides, he’s aiming for something higher.
