There’s a feature in this issue called “The Lost Museum” (page 100) about a man named Jim Hoellerich’s passion for off-road motorcycling and his museum, which was located on his family farm in Cheshire, Massachusetts, near Dalton. Back in 1973, Dalton was the host of the 48th Annual FIM International Six Days Trial, the first time the “Olympics of motorcycling” had ever been held in the U.S. It was a very big deal to the fledgling off-road industry here, as well as for the New England Trail Riders Club that put on the event.
