First-Time Visitors

In the first outing for the GasGas brand on the High Point National track, Justin Barcia (51) put the bike into the lead of the 450 Class—but only briefly, as Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo (9) and Eli Tomac (3) and Star Racing’s Aaron Plessinger (7) all went by. Two other first-time visitors fared better at High Point, as Jalek Swoll claimed his first career AMA 250 Pro Motocross win (and first magazine cover) and Honda’s Jett Lawrence finished second and maintained the 250 points lead.
