They say the rain in Spain stays mostly in the plain, but no one ever mentions what happens in France. Team USA Junior found out at the 2025 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship, the kids’ version of the FIM Motocross of Nations. After months of planning, fundraising, riding, and training, ten talented young Americans crossed the Atlantic Ocean in early July to take on the world at the French circuit of Romagné. Unfortunately, the riders faced much tougher conditions than expected as heavy rain hit the Normandy coast, turning a beautiful motocross track into a quagmire. Nevertheless, the kids performed admirably in the challenging conditions, and one of them—Kannon Zabojnik of Rowlett, Texas—came home as a FIM World Champion.
