Honda HRC Progressive’s Jo Shimoda (30) and Triumph Factory Racing’s Jalek Swoll (22) nearly collided on the exit to the first turn at the Honda RedBud National before Jo zigged (with an added kung fu kick) and Jalek zagged, preventing disaster at the front of the pack. From here, Shimoda would post a 1-1 finish for his first overall of the season, while Swoll would finish second overall, a new high-water mark for the British brand in Pro Motocross.
