The Washougal National went pretty well for Team Honda. Jett Lawrence and Chase Sexton went 1-2 in the 450 Class as they continued their collective dominance, while Hunter Lawrence finished third overall in the 250 Class, just enough to allow him to hold on to the points lead. The following day, however, was a different story for Team Honda at Washougal. That’s because team manager Lars Lindstrom finally relented to the constant requests from Steve Matthes and Kris Keefer to let them test the team’s race bikes.
